Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

In {فَاَمَّا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ …: ’’ رَوْضَةٍ ‘‘}, tanween is for exaltation and magnification, a great and magnificent garden, meaning Paradise. {’’ يُحْبَرُوْنَ ‘‘ ’’حَبَرَهُ يَحْبُرُهُ‘‘} is when someone is made so happy that their face shines with joy, and {’’تَحْبِيْرٌ‘‘} means to adorn, to make shine. That is, those who have faith and do righteous deeds will be made happy in a great and magnificent garden, that is, Paradise. They will be granted the joy of eating and drinking, living, friends, wives, and the fulfillment of every desire that comes to their hearts, and above all, they will be blessed with the joy of seeing Allah Almighty, which is the greatest joy of all.
