Surah Ash-Shu'araa (26) — Ayah 27
قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَكُمُ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمَجْنُونٌ ﴿27﴾

[Fir‘aun (Pharaoh)] said: "Verily, your Messenger who has been sent to you is a madman!"

(Ayah 27) { قَالَ اِنَّ رَسُوْلَكُمُ الَّذِيْۤ اُرْسِلَ اِلَيْكُمْ لَمَجْنُوْنٌ:} The argument of Musa (peace be upon him) was so clear and powerful that Pharaoh stopped responding to it and instead attacked the person of Musa (peace be upon him), saying, "Indeed, this Messenger of yours who has been sent to you is surely mad." The signs of wisdom, intelligence, and the light of insight on the face of Musa (peace be upon him) negated any claim of him being insane or mad, so Pharaoh used {’’ اِنَّ ‘‘} and the "lam of emphasis" to declare him mad, meaning, "Indeed, he is surely mad."
