إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لَا يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ ﴿33﴾
Verily, he used not to believe in Allâh, the Most Great,
إِنَّهُۥ innahu Indeed, he
كَانَ kāna was
لَا not
يُؤْمِنُ yu'minu believing
بِٱللَّهِ bil-lahi in Allah
ٱلْعَظِيمِ l-ʿaẓīmi the Most Great

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. 4. 1. By "روح" is meant Jibril (Gabriel) ؑ; due to his great status, he is mentioned separately, otherwise he is also included among the angels. Or by "روح" is meant human souls which are taken up to the heavens after death, as mentioned in some narrations. There is much difference of opinion regarding the definition of this "day," as we have explained at the beginning of Alif Lam Meem Sajdah.
