1؎: Thus, a servant travels towards that part of the earth for the fulfillment of his need where Allah has decreed his death for him, and then, upon reaching there, his death occurs. «وما تدري نفس بأي أرض تموت» "And no soul knows in what land it will die" (Luqman: 34). This is an indication that no one has any knowledge of which part of the earth death will come to him.

Explanation: 1: Thus, a servant travels toward that part of the earth to fulfill his need where Allah has decreed his death for him, then, upon reaching there, his death occurs. ﴿وَمَاتَدْرِينَفْسٌبِأَيِّأَرْضٍتَمُوتُ﴾ (Luqman: 34) (“And no soul knows in what land it will die”)—this points to the fact that no one has any knowledge of which part of the earth their death will come in.

Hadith Authentication: It is authentic. ◈ Al-Hakim [1؍42 ح125، 126] and Al-Dhahabi have declared it authentic according to the conditions of Bukhari and Muslim. ◈ In its chain is Abu Ishaq al-Sabi'i, who is a mudallis narrator, but in Sunan al-Tirmidhi [2147] there is an authentic corroborating narration (shahid) with exactly the same meaning, regarding which Imam al-Tirmidhi said: «هٰذا حديث صحيح» Its chain is authentic. And Ibn Hibban [الموارد : 1815], Al-Hakim [42/1], and Al-Dhahabi have declared it authentic.
Fiqh of the Hadith: ➊ The time and place of a person's death that is decreed in destiny by Allah, he reaches there. ➋ The belief in divine decree (qadar) is true. ➌ In some manuscripts, instead of «عكامس», it is written as «عكام», whereas the correct version is «عكامس», as is found in the Mishkat teaching edition, India, p. [22].
