حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ " .
´Aishah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) said:` "Fever is from the heat of the Hell, so cool it with water." Another chain reports similar narration.
حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاق، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، نَحْوَهُ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي حَدِيثِ أَسْمَاءَ كَلَامٌ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ هَذَا ، وَكِلَا الْحَدِيثَيْنِ صَحِيحٌ .
‘With this chain,’ a similar hadith is narrated from Asma bint Abi Bakr, may Allah be pleased with her. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
