Hadith 159
أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ الْمَدِينِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : كَشَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ السِّتَارَةَ وَالنَّاسُ صُفُوفٌ خَلْفَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، فَقَالَ : " أَلا إِنِّي نُهِيتُ أَنْ أَقْرَأَ رَاكِعًا أَوْ سَاجِدًا فَأَمَّا الرُّكُوعُ فَعَظِّمُوا فِيهِ الرَّبَّ وَأَمَّا السُّجُودُ فَاجْتَهِدُوا فِيهِ مِنَ الدُّعَاءِ فَقَمِنٌ أَنْ يُسْتَجَابَ لَكُمْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) lifted the curtain of his chamber (and saw that) the people were praying behind Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). He (ﷺ) said: "Beware! I have been forbidden from reciting the Qur'an in bowing and prostration. In bowing, glorify the greatness of your Lord «سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمِ» and in prostration, make abundant supplication, for this is the state in which supplications are most likely to be accepted."
Hadith 160
أَنْبَأَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ، " أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ لُبْسِ الْقَسِّيِّ ، وَعَنْ لُبْسِ الْمُعَصْفَرِ ، وَعَنْ تَخَتُّمِ الذَّهَبِ ، وَعَنْ قِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ فِي الرُّكُوعِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade wearing silk clothing, yellow-colored clothing, wearing a gold ring, and reciting the Qur'an during bowing (ruku‘).
Hadith 161
أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ , عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : " نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلا أَقُولُ نَهَاكُمْ أَنْ أَقْرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ رَاكِعًا أَوْ سَاجِدًا ، وَأَنْ أَتَخَتَّمَ بِالذَّهَبِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade me—I do not say that He forbade you—from reciting the Qur'an in bowing or prostration, or from wearing a gold ring.
Hadith 162
أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا أَمَّنَ الإِمَامُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّ الْمَلائِكَةَ تُؤَمِّنُ فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the Imam says Ameen, you should also say Ameen, because the angels also say Ameen. Whoever's Ameen coincides with the Ameen of the angels, his previous sins are forgiven."
Hadith 163
أَنْبَأَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، وَعَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَنَّهُمَا : أَخْبَرَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا أَمَّنَ الإِمَامُ فَأَمِّنُوا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the Imam says Ameen, you should also say Ameen. Indeed, whoever's Ameen coincides with the Ameen of the angels, all his past sins are forgiven."
Hadith 164
أَنْبَأَنَا مَالِكٌ , عَنْ سُمَيٍّ ، مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ , عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ ، وَلا الضَّالِّينَ فَقُولُوا : آمِينَ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ قَوْلُهُ قَوْلَ الْمَلائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When the Imam says ﴿غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ﴾, you should all say Ameen; whoever's saying coincides with that of the angels, his sins will be forgiven."
Hadith 165
أَنْبَأَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا قَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ : آمِينَ وَقَالَتِ الْمَلائِكَةُ فِي السَّمَاءِ : آمِينَ فَوَافَقَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا الأُخْرَى غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you says Ameen, the angels in the heavens also say Ameen. So when the Ameen on earth coincides with the Ameen in the heavens, sins are forgiven."
Hadith 166
أَنْبَأَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ ، مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ , عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ : سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ ، فَقُولُوا : اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the Imam says «سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ», you should say «اللهمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ»; for whoever's 'Ameen' coincides with the 'Ameen' of the angels, his sins are forgiven."
