قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَحْرِ وَطَعَامُهُ مَتَاعًا لَكُمْ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ}His (Allah's) saying: {Lawful to you is the game of the sea and its food as provision for you and for travelers...}
Hadith 833

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، قَالَ: نَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: { أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَحْرِ وَطَعَامُهُ مَتَاعًا لَكُمْ } قَالَ: طَعَامُهُ مَا قَذَفَ بِهِ .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said regarding the statement of Allah the Exalted: ﴿أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَحْرِ وَطَعَامُهُ مَتَاعًا لَكُمْ﴾: Here, by «طَعَامُهُ» is meant such fish and the like which the sea throws towards the land.
