Hadith 2976

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: نا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: «إِذَا وَقَّتَ فِي الطَّلَاقِ وَالْعِتَاقِ وَقَعَ، وَإِذَا لَمْ يُوَقِّتْ لَمْ يَقَعْ»
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "If a specific time is set in divorce and emancipation, it takes effect; if no specific time is set, it does not take effect."
