Hadith 2889

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: «كَانُوا يَكْتُمُونَ الصِّبْيَانَ النِّكَاحَ مَخَافَةَ الطَّلَاقِ» . قَالَ الْمُغِيرَةُ: وَكَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لَا يَهَابُ شَيْئًا مِنَ الْغُلَامِ إِلَّا الطَّلَاقَ
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "They used to conceal the marriage from the child, lest words of divorce be uttered." And Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) only feared divorce in the case of a child.
