Hadith 2280

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: أنا مُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: «طَلَاقُ السَّكْرَانِ جَائِزٌ، وَيُضْرَبُ الْحَدَّ لِأَنَّهُ فِي عُدْوَانٍ»
Ibrahim al-Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The divorce of an intoxicated person is valid and the prescribed punishment should be established upon him because this is an act of excess.
