بَابُ الرَّجُلِ يُعْتِقُ فَيَمُوتُ وَيَتْرُكُ وَرَثَةً ثُمَّ يَمُوتُ الْمُعْتَقُChapter on a man who frees a slave, then dies and leaves heirs, then the freed slave dies
Hadith 1441

سَعِيدٌ قَالَ: نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، قَالَ: أنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، فِي رَجُلٍ مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ أَخَاهُ وَجَدَّهُ وَمَوْلَاهُ، فَمَاتَ الْمَوْلَى قَالَ: «الْمَالُ بَيْنَهُمَا نِصْفَانِ»
It is narrated from Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) that a man died and left behind his brother, grandfather, and a freed slave. Then the slave died. So he (Ata) said: "The wealth will be divided equally between the two."
