قَدِ احْتَجَّ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا فِي ذَلِكَ بِعُمُومِ قَوْلِهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " صَلُّوا مَا أَدْرَكْتُمْ ثُمَّ اقْضُوا مَا فَاتَكُمْ ".
Some of our companions have drawn evidence on this matter from the general statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Pray whatever part of the prayer you catch, then complete what you have missed."
