Bayhaqi Q19133 — Permissibility of nahr for what is normally

Taking as evidence what has reached us from Sayyiduna Umar and Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them): "Slaughtering is in the throat and the upper part of the chest (labbah)."
And Ata bin Abi Rabah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "In cows and camels, slaughtering (dhabh) suffices in place of nahr, and nahr suffices in place of slaughtering."
