فَضْلُ الصَّلَاةِ فِي أَوَّلِ الْوَقْتِThe virtue of praying at the beginning of its time
Hadith 979

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْعَلاءِ ، نا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، نا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ، عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَيُصَلِّي الصَّلاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا وَقَدْ تَرَكَ مِنَ الْوَقْتِ الأَوَّلِ مَا هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ وَمَالِهِ ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “A person performs the prayer within its time but not at its earliest time; for this person, it is better than his family and wealth.”
