حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ رَشِيقٍ ، نا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، ثنا ابْنُ حِسَابٍ ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : ذَهَبْتُ أَنَا وَجَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ إِلَى الْجَلْدِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ فَحَدَّثَنَا بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فِي " الْمُسْتَحَاضَةِ تَنْتَظِرُ ثَلاثًا ، خَمْسًا ، سَبْعًا ، عَشْرًا " ، فَذَهَبْنَا نُوفقُهُ ، فَإِذَا هُوَ لا يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَ الْحَيْضِ وَالاسْتِحَاضَةِ .
Hammad bin Zaid narrates: I and Jarir bin Hazim went to Juld bin Ayyub, and he narrated regarding the mustahadah woman: "The mustahadah woman will wait for three days, five days, seven days, or ten days (i.e., she will consider these days as menstruation)." So we went and tried to stop him, but he did not differentiate between menstruation and istihada.
