Nafi' reports: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) performed tayammum and offered the Asr prayer at a distance of one or two miles from Madinah Munawwarah. Then he came (to the city) and the sun was still high. He did not repeat the prayer.
