حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ ، نَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، قَالَ : وَنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، نَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، قَالا : نَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي بَشِيرٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : أَشْهَدُ عَلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " السَّمَكَةُ الطَّافِيَةُ حَلالٌ لِمَنْ أَرَادَ أَكْلَهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I bear witness regarding Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The fish that floats on water (i.e., dead fish) is lawful (halal) for the one who wishes to eat it.
