نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الْمُقْرِئُ ، نَا عِيسَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، نَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ ، نَا أَبِي ، نَا عِيسَى بْنُ مُوسَى ، نَا أَبُو حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا مَاتَ الرَّجُلُ ، وَعَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ إِلَى أَجَلٍ ، وَلَهُ دَيْنٌ إِلَى أَجَلٍ فَالَّذِي عَلَيْهِ حَالٌّ ، وَالَّذِي لَهُ إِلَى أَجَلِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If a person passes away and he is liable to pay a debt, and he is also owed a debt by someone, then the payment that is obligatory upon him must be paid immediately, and the debt that he is to receive will be collected at its appointed time."
