Hadith 3717

نَا نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ ، نَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، نَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ، نَا سُفْيَانُ ، نَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عَلِيٌّ : " الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ عُقْدَةُ النِّكَاحِ الزَّوْجُ " ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ : وَكَانَ ابْنُ شُبْرُمَةَ يَقُولُ : هُوَ الزَّوْجُ.
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The one in whose hand is the knot of marriage, what is meant by this is the husband." Sufyan narrates: Ibn Shubrumah said: "What is meant by this is the husband."
