ثنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ صَاعِدٍ ، نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَضَّاحِ اللُّؤْلُئِيُّ ، نَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَكَّائِيُّ ، نَا إِدْرِيسُ الأَوْدِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : " أَشْرَكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عَمَّارٍ ، وَسَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ فِي دَرَقَةٍ سُلِّحْنَاهَا ، وَأَشْرَكَنَا فِيمَا أَصَبْنَا ، فَأَخْفَقْتُ أَنَا وَعَمَّارٌ ، وَجَاءَ سَعْدٌ بِأَسِيرَيْنِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me, Ammar, and Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas a shield jointly. Among the spoils of war taken from the polytheists, he included us as partners in them. Ammar and I could not bring anything, but Sa'd brought two captives.
