نا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، نا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، نا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَتَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ كِتَابًا ، وَبَعَثَ بِهِ مَعَ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ فِيهِ : " وَأَنَّ الْعُمْرَةَ الْحَجُّ الأَصْغَرُ ، وَلا يَمَسَّ الْقُرْآنَ إِلا طَاهِرٌ " .
Abu Bakr bin Muhammad narrates from his father, from his grandfather: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) wrote a letter to the people of Yemen, and he sent it with our master Amr bin Hazm (may Allah be pleased with him). It was written in it: "Umrah is the lesser Hajj, and only a person in a state of purity (wudu) may touch the Qur'an."
