حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ صَارِخًا يَصْرُحُ فِي بَطْنِ مَكَّةَ أَلا إِنَّ صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ ، مِثْلَهُ وَزَادَ فِيهِ حَاضِرٍ أَوْ بَادٍ .
Amr bin Shu'aib narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) sent a man, who made a loud announcement in the lowlands of Mecca: "Be aware, the payment of Sadaqat al-Fitr is obligatory." After this, the narrator reported the hadith as previously mentioned, however, in this version, these additional words are present: "It is obligatory upon every city-dweller and villager."
