حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، وَحَفْصُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، قَالا : نا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ " أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَخْرُجُ لِلْعِيدَيْنِ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ فَيُكَبِّرُ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ الْمُصَلَّى ، وَيُكَبِّرُ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ الإِمَامَ " .
It is narrated about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that he used to leave the mosque to perform the Eid prayers, and he would continuously recite the Takbeer until he reached the Eidgah, and he would keep reciting the Takbeer until the Imam arrived.
