حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ بُهْلُولٍ ، ثنا أبِي ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى . ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ السُّلَمِيُّ ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيُّ ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَنَتَ شَهْرًا يَدْعُوا عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ تَرَكَهُ ، وَأَمَّا فِي الصُّبْحِ فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يَقْنُتُ حَتَّى فَارَقَ الدُّنْيَا " . لَفْظُ النَّيْسَابُورِيِّ.
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the supplication of Qunoot for a month, in which he supplicated against them (the disbelievers), then he abandoned it. As for the Fajr prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) continued to recite the supplication of Qunoot in it until he departed from this world.
