بَابُ مَنْ كَانَ يُصَلِّي الصُّبْحَ وَحْدَهُ ثُمَّ أَدْرَكَ الْجَمَاعَةَ فَلْيُصَلِّ مَعَهَاChapter on one who prays Fajr alone then catches the congregation, he should pray with them

حَدَّثَنَا النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، وَغَيْرُهُ ، قَالُوا : ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، ثنا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ بِذَلِكَ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates a similar report from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), however, in it these words are mentioned: "This will become a voluntary prayer for both of you, and what you performed at your residence will be the obligatory prayer." This same narration is also transmitted from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) through some other chains of transmission.
