باب قَوْلِ عُمَرَ في الْجَدِّ:Chapter on Umar's opinion regarding the grandfather
Hadith 2947
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ، قَالَ: "إِنَّ أَوَّلَ جَدٍّ وَرِثَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ عُمَرُ.
Shu’bi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: In Islam, the first person to inherit as a grandfather was Sayyiduna ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him).
