Hadith 2553

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ: أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: "إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُؤَيِّدُ هَذَا الدِّينَ بِالرَّجُلِ الْفَاجِرِ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah the Exalted sometimes supports and upholds this religion through a wicked person."
Brief Explanation

From this it is understood that it is not necessary that only the pious, righteous, and learned scholars support and aid the religion; rather, an ordinary person can also be a source of goodness and blessing for Islam. A recent example of this is computers, the internet, mobile phones, etc., which, on one hand, spread evil and corruption, but on the other hand, are filled with all the sciences of the Qur’an and Hadith, which guide towards the straight path. May Allah Ta’ala grant the general Muslims the ability to benefit from this.
