باب مَنْ قَتَلَ قَتِيلاً فَلَهُ سَلَبُهُ:Chapter: Whoever Kills an Enemy Gets His Belongings
Hadith 2520
أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ: أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "مَنْ قَتَلَ كَافِرًا، فَلَهُ سَلَبُهُ" . فَقَتَلَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ يَوْمَئِذٍ عِشْرِينَ، وَأَخَذَ أَسْلَابَهُمْ.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever kills a disbeliever, then the belongings of the slain will go to the one who killed him." Sayyiduna Abu Talhah, may Allah be pleased with him, killed twenty men (disbelievers) on that day (in the Battle of Hunayn) and also took their belongings and possessions.
