It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been given five things which were not given to any prophet before me: I have been sent as a prophet to every red and black person; the entire earth has been made a place of prostration and pure for me; spoils of war (ghanimah) have been made lawful for me, which were not lawful for anyone before me; I have been helped by awe to the extent of a month's journey—the enemy fears me from a distance of one month's travel; and it was said to me: 'Ask, you will be given.' But I have kept this supplication hidden for the intercession of my Ummah, and, God willing, it will be granted to every one of you who does not associate partners with Allah."

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 2502)
In this hadith, five special characteristics are mentioned which were not granted to any prophet except the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam:
(1) Previous prophets were sent specifically to their own nations, but the prophethood of the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is universal for all peoples, both jinn and mankind: «﴿وَمَاأَرْسَلْنَاكَإِلَّاكَافَّةًلِلنَّاسِ﴾ [سبأ : 28]» “Red and black” refers to all the people on the face of the earth, whether they are fair-skinned or dark-skinned. People from cold regions are fair and ruddy, and inhabitants of hot regions are dark-skinned; meaning, the prophethood of sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is universal for everyone.
(2) The entire earth has been made a place of prostration (masjid) for sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Now, wherever the time for prayer occurs, even if water is not available, one may perform tayammum (dry ablution) and offer prayer on any pure ground.
(3) Spoils of war (mal-e-ghanīmah) were not lawful for previous communities, but they have been made lawful for sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and his ummah.
(4) Awe has been cast into the hearts of the enemy at a distance of one month’s journey.
(5) Intercession (shafā‘ah) has been granted to sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, which he has reserved for his ummah for the Day of Resurrection. At that time, when the entire world will be engulfed in distress, each person will be crying out “myself, myself” and “O Allah, grant safety, grant safety,” and no messenger or prophet will dare to intercede. At that moment, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam will intercede by Allah’s permission, and it will be accepted.
