حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: "لَقَلَّمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْرُجُ إِذَا أَرَادَ سَفَرًا إِلَّا يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ".
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: It was rare that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), when he intended to set out on a journey, would depart on any day other than Thursday.
