Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated, who spent some days in the company of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): My father said to my mother, "If only you would prepare food for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)." So my mother made tharid (a dish of bread and meat). With a gesture of the hand, he indicated that the tharid was a small amount. After that, my father went to serve the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (and he came), and placed his hand on the top of the middle of it (i.e., supplicated for blessing), then said: "Begin in the name of Allah." So those present began to eat from the edges. When they were satisfied from eating, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated for them: "O Allah! Forgive them, have mercy on them, and bless the provision You have granted them."

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 2060)
From this hadith, the legitimacy of supplicating for the one who provides food is established; thus, saying «اَللّٰهُمَّاغْفِرْلَهُمْوَارْحَمْهُمْوَبَارِكْلَهُمْفِيْمَارَزَقْتَهُمْ.» is Sunnah, and other supplications may also be made, such as: «اَللّٰهُمَّأَطْعِمْمَنْأَطْعَمَنَاوَاسْقِمَنْسَقَانَا.» Translation: "O Allah, whoever fed me, then feed him, and whoever gave me drink, then grant him drink."
Also: «وَافْطَرَعِنْدَكُمُالصَّائِمُوْنَوَصَلَّتْعَلَيْكُمُالْمَلَائِكَةُوَأَكَلَطَعَامُكُمُالْأَبْرَارُ.» Translation: "May those who are fasting break their fast with you, may the angels supplicate for you, and may the righteous eat your food."
From this hadith, the miracle of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is also evident: a small amount of tharid (tharid) was so blessed that it sufficed for the entire household. The blessing of saying 'Bismillah' is also understood, as well as the affection and love of the noble Companions (radi Allahu anhum) for the Noble Messenger (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). Furthermore, it is shown that hosting guests is among the virtuous habits of the pious predecessors, and accepting an invitation is Sunnah, whether a younger person invites an elder.
And Allah knows best.
Tharid: A dish consisting of bread, broth, and meat and vegetables mixed together, which is well-known in Arabia, delicious, easily digestible, and can be easily prepared and cooked.
