أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْمَرُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "نَهَى عَنْ جُلُودِ السِّبَاعِ أَنْ تُفْتَرَشَ".
Abu Mulaikh narrated from his father that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbade spreading the skins of predatory animals.
Brief Explanation

When it became prohibited to spread the skin of predatory animals, then wearing it is, a fortiori, even more prohibited.
In Sunan an-Nasa’i, both wearing and spreading (the skin) are prohibited.
