Urwah bin Zubair and Amrah bint Abdur Rahman said that Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I used to braid necklaces (collars) for the sacrificial animals of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), then he (peace be upon him) would send his sacrificial animals adorned with these necklaces, while he himself remained in Medina, and he would not abstain from anything until the sacrifice was done. (That is, unlike a pilgrim in the state of Ihram, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would not avoid anything.)
