It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah al-Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him during the Farewell Pilgrimage: "Make the people quiet." (So that they may listen attentively), then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not become disbelievers after me, striking the necks of one another."

Brief Explanation
(Commentary on Hadith 1958)
From this hadith, it is understood that mutual fighting and bloodshed is not the way of Muslims, but rather the practice of disbelievers. The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) prohibited this. However, it is unfortunate that only a few years after the passing of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), tribulations and discord began, which continue among Muslims to this day. One group plays with the blood of another, staining their hands with the unjust blood of Muslims. «(أعاذنا اللّٰه من ذٰلك)».
