Hadith 1956

حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، بِنَحْوِهِ.
With this chain also, it is narrated similarly from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). The translation has already been mentioned above.

Brief Explanation
(Explanation of Hadiths 1954 to 1956)

The meaning of ‘uqri is wounded, or an injury to the throat, or one who destroys or wounds her own people, or barren, i.e., one who has no offspring.
And ‘halqi means one whose head is shaved.
Both of these words are used in the language of the Jews when expressing displeasure with a woman.
In this narration, it is mentioned that Umm al-Mu’minin Sayyidah Safiyyah radi Allahu anha used these words for herself, but in the Sahihayn and other narrations, it is stated that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, thinking in displeasure, used these words, believing that she would prevent them from departing.
Because a pilgrim cannot depart before performing the Tawaf al-Ifadah, but when the Benefactor of Humanity, the Beloved of the Universe sallallahu alayhi wa sallam learned that she had already performed the Tawaf al-Ifadah and only the Tawaf al-Wada‘ remained, he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: If she has performed the Tawaf al-Ziyarah, then there is no harm in departing.
From this, it is understood that if a menstruating woman (ha’idh) is unable to perform the Tawaf al-Wada‘, there is no harm; she may travel, and her Hajj is valid and complete.
