أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ نَحْوَهُ . قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ: الْإِيضَاعُ لِلْإِبِلِ، وَالْإِيجَافُ لِلْخَيْلِ.
Abu al-Zubair also narrated the hadith as before. Imam Darimi, may Allah have mercy on him, said: «ايضاع» refers to the fast running of a camel and «ايجاف» refers to the fast running of a horse.

The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam passed quickly through the Valley of Muhassir because this is the very place where Allah Ta'ala destroyed Abraha and his army, the Companions of the Elephant (Ashab al-Fil), by means of the Ababil birds, turning them into straw that had been eaten.
