باب النَّهْيِ عَنْ دُخُولِ الْمُشْرِكِ الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ:Chapter: Forbidding polytheists from entering the Sacred Mosque
Hadith 1468
أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْبَزَّارُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ الْمُحَرَّرِ بْنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ مَعَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ لَمَّا بَعَثَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَنَادَى بِأَرْبَعٍ حَتَّى صَهِلَ صَوْتُهُ: "أَلَا إِنَّهُ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا نَفْسٌ مُؤْمِنَةٌ، وَلَا يَحُجَّنَّ بَعْدَ الْعَامِ مُشْرِكٌ، وَلَا يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ عُرْيَانٌ، وَمَنْ كَانَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَهْدٌ، فَإِنَّ أَجَلَهُ إِلَى أَرْبَعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ، فَإِذَا مَضَتْ الْأَرْبَعَةُ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بَرِيءٌ مِنْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَرَسُولُهُ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent Sayyiduna Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) towards Makkah al-Mukarramah, I was with him. He announced four things until his voice became hoarse: Listen! Only a believing soul will enter Paradise. After this year, no polytheist shall perform Hajj, nor shall anyone circumambulate the House of Allah naked. And whoever has a treaty or pact with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), its duration is four months. After this period passes, Allah and His Messenger are free from obligation to the polytheists.
