أَخْبَرَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَيَّارٍ أَبِي الْمِنْهَالِ الرِّيَاحِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "يَكْرَهُ النَّوْمَ قَبْلَ الْعِشَاءِ، وَالْحَدِيثَ بَعْدَهَا".
Sayyiduna Abu Barzah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) disliked sleeping before the ‘Isha prayer and talking after it.
