باب فَضْلِ الصَّلاَةِ في مَسْجِدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:Chapter: Virtue of praying in the Prophet’s mosque
Hadith 1457
أَخْبَرَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ، إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “One prayer in this mosque of mine is superior to a thousand prayers in other mosques, except for al-Masjid al-Haram.”
