باب مَا يُقَالُ عَنْدَ الأَذَانِ:Chapter: What is Said at the Time of Adhan
Hadith 1235
أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أَنْبَأنَا يُونُسُ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ الْمُؤَذِّنَ، فَقُولُوا مِثْلَ مَا يَقُولُ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you hear the voice of the muezzin, then say as he says."
