أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، وَعَفَّانُ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: "أُمِرَ بِلَالٌ أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الْأَذَانَ وَيُوتِرَ الْإِقَامَةَ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) was commanded to say the words of the adhan twice each, and in the iqamah once each.
