Seeking Refuge from the Moon and Its Reason
Hadith 3062
- " استعيذي بالله من هذا (يعني القمر) ، فإنه الغاسق إذا وقب ".
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took my hand and pointed towards the moon with it and said: "Seek refuge with Allah from this; this is what is meant by «غاسق اذا وقب»."
