Hadith 2607

Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that we set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in the year of the Farewell Pilgrimage (for Hajj), so we assumed Ihram for Umrah. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever has a sacrificial animal with him should assume Ihram for both Hajj and Umrah together (and recite the Talbiyah)."
So that he becomes one who performs Qiran Hajj, because the person who has put on the Ihram for Umrah and also has a sacrificial animal with him, it is not permissible for him (after performing Umrah) to exit the state of Ihram until the sacrifice reaches its place of sacrifice (on the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah).
