Hadith 822

Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would perform the night prayer (i.e., Tahajjud prayer) while I would be lying between him and the Qiblah like a bier. In the narration of Makhzumi, there is this addition: Then when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to pray Witr, he would move me back with his foot.
