(39) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْخَبَرِ الْمُفَسِّرِ لِلَّفْظَةِ الْمُجْمَلَةِ الَّتِي ذَكَرْتُهَا، وَالدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا أَمَرَ بأَنْ يُشْفَعَ بَعْضُ الْأَذَانِ لَا كُلُّهَا، وَأَنَّهُ إِنَّمَا أَمَرَ بِأَنْ يُوتَرَ بَعْضُ الْإِقَامَةِ لَا كُلُّهَا،Chapter 39: Report explaining the ambiguous wording, and evidence that the Prophet ordered doubling some parts of the adhan, not all, and singling some parts of the iqamah, not all
Hadith 373
نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ فِي عَقِبِ حَدِيثِهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، نا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : فَذَكَرَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بِهَذَا الْخَبَرِ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ هَذِهِ لَرُؤْيَا حَقٌّ إِنَّ شَاءَ اللَّهُ ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِالتَّأْذِينِ ، فَكَانَ بِلالٌ مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ يُؤَذِّنُ بِذَلِكَ "
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid bin Abd Rabbah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him: "This dream is true, Insha’Allah." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered for the call to prayer (Adhan), so Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), the freed slave of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), used to call the Adhan with these words.
