Hadith 2705
ثنا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَزْعَةُ ، حَدَّثَنِي سُوَيْدُ بْنُ حُجَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُهَاجِرُ بْنُ عِكْرِمَةَ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْنَا جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَقْضِي صَلاتَهُ وَطَوَافَهُ ، ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ ، فَيَسْتَقْبِلُ الْبَيْتَ ، فَقَالَ : مَا كُنْتُ أَرَى يَفْعَلُ هَذَا إِلا الْيَهُودَ "
Hazrat Muhajir bin Ikrimah reports that we asked Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) about the person who, after completing his prayer and circumambulation, leaves Masjid al-Haram, and he faces the House of Allah (the Ka'bah) (and raises his hands). He replied that in my opinion, only the Jews do this act.
