It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The deeds of people are presented (to Allah) twice every week, on Monday and Thursday. So, the forgiveness is granted to every believer, except for the person who has enmity or a quarrel with his brother. Allah Almighty says: 'Leave these two, or give them respite, until they return (to reconciliation).' Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that this narration is reported as mawquf in Muwatta Imam Malik, while in Muwatta Ibn Wahb it is reported as marfu‘ and authentic."
