Hadith 2102
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَفْطَرَ بِعَرَفَةَ ، أُتِيَ بِلَبَنٍ فَشَرِبَ "
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from his respected mother, Sayyidah Umm al-Fadl (may Allah be pleased with her), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not fast in Arafat. Milk was brought to him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) drank it.
