Hadith 1930
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ ، نا مُلازِمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، نا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ السُّحَيْمِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَتَانِي قَيْسُ بْنُ طَلْقٍ فِي رَمَضَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي طَلْقُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا ، وَلا يَغُرَّنَّكُمُ السَّاطِعُ الْمُصْعِدُ ، وَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّى يَعْتَرِضَ لَكُمُ الأَحْمَرُ " . وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ
Hazrat Taliq bin Ali narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Continue eating and drinking (at suhoor), and do not be deceived by the ascending white light. And keep eating and drinking until the red streak becomes clear to you." And the Prophet (peace be upon him) indicated with his hand.
