(146) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الْخَبَرِ الْمُفَسِّرِ لِلْأَلْفَاظِ الْمُجْمَلَةِ الَّتِي ذَكَرْتُهَا،Chapter 146: Clarification of the previously mentioned general reports
Hadith 191
نا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ ، نا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا ، وَحُصَيْنٍ ، وَيُونُسَ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ ، سَمِعَهُ مِنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَتَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ ؟ قَالَ : " إِنِّي أَدْخَلْتُ رِجْلَيَّ وَهُمَا طَاهِرَتَانِ "
Sayyiduna Mughira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), do you wipe over the leather socks (khuffs)?" He (peace be upon him) replied, "Indeed, I put both my feet into them while in a state of purity."
